Betboom Team is navigating a busy 2026 season. After reshaping its roster mid-year, the organization lifted the PGL Wallachia Season 8 trophy in April, proving the rebuild was on the right track. Next up: the DreamLeague Season 30 qualifiers and the year-end events.
September 2026 marked a turning point for Betboom Team. Long-time mid laner gpk was moved to the inactive list, the team captain Save- shifted into the mid lane, and swedenstrong joined for the position four role. Taken together, these moves show a team that has rethought both its playstyle and its drafting approach from the ground up.
The spine of the roster is held together by names like MieRo` and Kataomi`, who have been with the team since 2024. With Save- moving to mid, Betboom blends that settled experience with a fresh tactical framework.
In April 2026 Betboom Team won PGL Wallachia Season 8, converting the roster rebuild into silverware. It was the organization’s third major international title in recent years: BLAST Slam I in late 2024, PGL Wallachia Season 5 in mid-2025, and now PGL Wallachia Season 8 in 2026. The streak shows a team that has built a sustained winning culture rather than a one-off peak.
The team’s former mid laner TORONTOTOKYO rejoined the organization in September 2026 as head coach. His early comments reveal how the new structure works: he is handling the drafting himself, while Save- concentrates his energy on the mid lane. The division of labour suggests a roster that is actively clarifying responsibilities in-game.
Carry player Kiritych offered a modest but ambitious note ahead of upcoming tournaments: he is focused on his own form and aiming for a stable, aggressive style of play. For fans, it reads as a disciplined approach to the rest of the 2026 calendar.
Betboom Team now turns its attention to the DreamLeague Season 30 qualifiers and the major events at the end of the year. The Eastern Europe qualifier group is expected to be as competitive as ever. How the rebuilt lineup performs there will matter both for the fans and for the team’s own long-term planning.
